Does my device support eSIM?
Your device knows best. Here’s how to check in 30 seconds.
1 · Which device do you have?
2 · Check your settings
- 1Open Settings → General → About.
- 2Scroll down. If you see “Digital SIM” or “Available SIM” with an EID number, your iPhone supports eSIM.
- 3On the same screen, “Carrier Lock” should say “No SIM restrictions” — that means it’s unlocked.
- 1Open Settings → Connections (or Network & internet).
- 2Tap SIM manager (or SIMs). If you see “Add eSIM” or “Download a SIM instead”, your device supports eSIM.
- 3To check it’s unlocked, ask your carrier — or try a SIM from another carrier and see if it works.
Or open the Phone app and dial *#06#. A number labelled EID means your device supports eSIM.
3 · What did you see?
